Frequent around hill scrub and beside moorland burns. Longest pinna c 5-12 cm Skye ID: Sori up against margin of leaf-underside. Middle pinnae the longest, lowest very short. Other features: Pinnules scarcely toothed, compared to other ferns, and margins inrolled below. Smells of lemon when crushed. |
