Frequent in wet moorland or where water seeps over rock, particularly common in alkaline areas. Leaves c 2-4 mm long ID: Leaf-edges have tiny hairs projecting at intervals Other features: More slender than other clubmosses. Cones not clearly distinct from rest of branch, but have leaves more spreading and with white or yellow globular spore-cases in their axils. |
