Frequent on stony wet flushes and beside rocky streams in hills and sometimes at lower altitudes. Flower diameter c 8-15 mm ID: 5 yellow petals, narrow, well separated, alternating with narrow sepals and with spaces between both. Other features: Petals sometimes have red dots. Flowering stems leafy, unlike many saxifrages. Plant also has densely leafy non-flowering shoots. Leaf-edges have scattered stiff hairs. |
