Rare in dry calcareous grassland and sand dunes, but quite frequent on Lismore. Flower diameter c 15-30 mm ID: A buttercup with the sepals downturned once the flowers are open. Lower leaves divided into three leaflets. Other features: Base of stem has a bulb-like swelling. Leaves with 3 well-cut lobes. Stem hairy. Flowers early in the year. |
