Common on well-drained bare ground such as gravel or sand, and in thin soil on rocky banks. Flower diameter c 2 mm ID: Leaves have basal lobes spreading or pointing forwards. Upper leaves stalked, not clasping stem. Other features: Shorter than other Rumex species, 30 cm high at most. Separate male and female flowers. |
