Common at the tideline where it forms large stands Leaves c 1 mm wide. Plant typically 25-30 cm high. ID: Leaves flattened, solid, not divided internally into compartments (feel between fingers). Tepals dark brown and equal in length to nut. Lowest bract well short of stem tip (on most stems) Other features: Flower-cluster at tip of stem typically remote from lower one(s). Inflorescence branches near vertical. |
