Occasional in dry bare ground or short turf Flower diameter c 7-13 mm ID: Petals well-notched, leaves rather dull green and not shiny, roundish in outline, deeply divided but with adjacent segments almost touching, not with narrow well-spaced segments like G dissectum. All 10 stamens with anthers. G pusillum, which could occur here, has smaller dull mauve flowers and only 5 of its stamens have anthers. Other features: A low growing annual plant, with most leaves at ground level. Stem densely clothed with spreading white hairs. |
