Scarce on bare ground in mountains

Flower diameter c 4-5 mm.

ID: Matted ground-hugging shrub with pink corolla divided about halfway into five lobes/petals.  Leaves leathery with margins turned under.

Other features: Whole plant hairless.  Calyx and young stems red.
