Common as a street weed, much less common in natural rocky places. Flower diameter c 2-4 mm. Pods 10-18 mm ID: Long thin cylindrical pods sticking out at a wide angle. Most leaves are in basal rosette. Stem-leaves few, unstalked but not clasping stem. All leaves of simple elliptical shape, only shallowly toothed if at all. Other features: Usually annual. Plants vary greatly in size even in the same population, but generally a small insignificant plant. Surface of base-leaves covered with pimples that each have a hair in. |
