A garden escape found here and there on roadsides or waste ground. Flowerhead diameter c 15-22 mm ID: Unmistakable. Involucres blackish and very tightly packed together (unopened ones can be seen protruding below flower in pic on left) Other features: Leaves in basal rosette except for one or two on lower part of stem. |
