Scattered distribution on rocky sea cliffs

Leaves typically 10-20 cm.

Skye ID: Leaves 1-pinnate, pinnae not again divided to base though can be toothed or lobed. Rachis with conspicuous green wings (see bottom pic)

Other features: Sori linear, on lateral veins of pinnae.
